IDEA Equitable Services Timely and Meaningful Consultation for Students with Disabilities attending Private (Non-Profit) and Home School: Ongoing Consultation for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school year.

The Department of Special Education continues to engage in the ongoing IDEA Timely and Meaningful Consultation process for students with disabilities enrolled in non-profit private or home school. We will continue to offer speech and language services to eligible students with disabilities attending non-profit private and home school for the remainder of the current school year and into the 2026-2027 school year.

In addition to speech and language services, we may purchase licenses for web-based instructional resources. You may learn more about these resources by visiting:

Individual consultations are available on request. Please contact Teresa.Vento@cobbk12.org if you have any questions about this process.

If you suspect that your child has a disability and would like to make a referral to determine your child’s eligibility for special education services, you may contact the Office of Student Assistance Programs at (678) 581-6803.
