Lassiter Varsity boys basketball team wins Thanksgiving Tournament

The Lassiter Varsity boys basketball team is off to a great start to the season. Over Thanksgiving break, they brought back the Pickens High School Thanksgiving Tournament Championship. The Trojans finished out the tournament 3-0 with a 60-53 win over Pickens County on Nov. 18, a 62-38 win against Creekview on Nov. 20 and then a 49-42 win over Sonoraville on Nov. 21 for the tournament championship. Lassiter Senior Cal Liston won Tournament Most Valuable Player. Come check out the boys in action at the next home game on Dec. 1 vs Blessed Trinity at 7:30pm.
